A brace from Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison, secured the win for Everton. Chelsea’s goal was scored by Mateo Kovacic.
The win move Everton out of the relegation zone to 14th on 17 points in the league table, while Chelsea remain fourth on 29 points.
“I knew they were going to have a go today but I am more worried about us. It was not good enough,” Lampard said in his post-match analysis.
“We conceded three horrible goals. The last thing we want is to go down so early.
“We have to get our shots away, especially against a team who have lots of players around the box. It’s really important to move on but I am flat because we should come here and get a result and we didn’t.”
