Nottingham Forest head coach Sabri Lamouchi has heaped plaudits on Sammy Ameobi following the winger’s impressive performance in Wednesday’s 2-2 draw against Swansea City.
Ameobi scored twice in an entertaining match at The City Ground to secure a point which cemented Forest’s place in the top six and kept Swansea at bay in the hunt for a play-off spot.
Lamouchi was full of praise for Ameobi’s display, with two superb strikes helping The Reds to gain the point.

“Sammy created alone, he made the difference alone so this point is from Sammy,”Lamouchi said after the game.
“I am happy and I am happy for him. He needs to believe more in his quality because he can score, he can help the team more because he is very dangerous for the opponent.
“It was a good surprise for me from the beginning of the season, but the season is not finished so we have to focus, have a rest and prepare for the next one on Sunday, then next Wednesday we will finish the regular season and we hope not our season.”
