Wigan coach Adrian Lam is keeping his fingers crossed Joe Greenwood’s injury picked up on Saturday is nothing serious.
Wigan went up against Catalans Dragons at the Camp Nou as a gate of 31,555 turned up at Barcelona’s stadium, breaking the Super League record for the biggest attendance outside a Grand Final.
The Warriors were unable to return home with the win as they were defeated 33-16, leaving the defending champions eighth in the table and 16 points adrift of table-toppers St Helens.

Lam was also dealt an early blow during the contest after England forward Greenwood, who joined from Gold Coast Titans last year, was forced off after picking up a knee injury.
Speaking about the issue, the coach is hopeful the 26-year-old will be back in action soon. Lam was quoted as saying by BBC Sport: “I think it was a hyper-extension to the knee and hopefully nothing too serious.”
