Alexandre Lacazette says the Arsenal squad are still confident of qualifying for the Champions League despite Sunday’s loss at Everton.
The Gunners are currently fifth in the Premier League table with just six games remaining this season.
Unai Emery’s men can still qualify for the Champions League by finishing in the top four but Sunday’s defeat to Everton saw them miss the chance to leapfrog rivals Spurs and claim third place.
Despite losing to Everton, the Frenchman claims the squad have enough belief to go all the way in Europe this year.
He told reporters: “Sunday we played bad. The whole team…we didn’t do what the coach asked us. “But we still have confidence.
We know we’re still in the race for the Champions League, we want to win a trophy so we are confident. “Sometimes we want to do something but some days it’s not as we want, you can’t play as you want.

That’s it.” Arsenal can also book their spot in next year’s Champions League by winning the Europa League, where they will face Napoli in the quarter-finals.
Arsenal will take on Napoli at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday in the first leg of the tie before then heading to Naples a week later on April 18.
