Sadiq’s last outing for Sociedad was their 2-0 home loss to Real Madrid when he was taken off in the 63rd minute.
The 27-year-old striker is yet to find the back of the net after four league games this season.
A 36th minute goal by Abdon Prats secured the win for Mallorca.
The defeat to Mallorca means Sociedad are winless in their last four games (three defeats, one draw).
Also, Sociedad are now in 16th place on four points after six league games played.
For Mallorca, they climb up to sixth position on eight points from the same number of games.
