Kwara United forward, Micheal Ohanu has called on his teammates to sustain the momentum if the team must clinch the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) title and qualify for next season’s Champions League.
Ohanu was on the score sheet in the team’s 2-0 victory over Warri Wolves at the weekend to help the team maintain their grip at the top of the table on 25 points.
Speaking with Brila.net in an interview, he stated that he doesn’t believe the team’s good form makes them favorite to win the league.
“For now the coach is not talking about being the champions of the league or winning the league, we just want to stay focus and keep working hard,” Ohanu stated.
“I’m so glad that am back to scoring ways, It has not been easy going few games without goal,” he told brila.net.
“We are playing well at the moment and we have to sustain the current level if we want to achieve our aims.”
