Two-time Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova has eased into the fourth round with a straight-sets win over Magda Linette. The sixth seed last lifted the SW19 title in 2014 and looks in good form as she continues to climb back up the rankings after returning from a knife attack in 2017.
Kvitova made easy work of Poland’s Linette on Saturday to ensure she is in the draw for the second week of the grass Grand Slam. The Czech won 6-3 6-2 in 69 minutes on court two and will go up against either Johanna Konta or Sloane Stephens in round four. Meanwhile, Spain’s Carla Suarez Navarro has also sealed her spot in the fourth round by beating American Lauren Davis 6-3 6-3.
