Manchester City midfielder Mateo Kovacic has disclosed that scoring against Chelsea was not the most important thing for him.
Recall that the Croatian international netted the second goal that earned Man City a 2-0 win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in Sunday’s Premier League game.
Reacting after the game, the former Chelsea midfielder stated that the team is determined to win more games and trophies this season.

“I don’t score many goals, and when you score, you want to celebrate. But I have a huge respect for Chelsea; I spent five years here.
“I scored, but that is not always the most important thing for me; the most important thing is winning.
“This team is so hungry, and it’s a pleasure to be a part of it and win titles.”
