Terence Kongolo says Huddersfield need to ensure they focus for 90 minutes after being caught out on Saturday against Brighton.
The Terriers headed to the south coast in good heart after Tuesday’s 1-0 win over Wolves and looked set to claim another point, only to fall asleep from a free-kick and allow Florin Andone to float in and head home the only goal.
Boss Jan Siewert branded his defence naïve for making such an error and Kongolo has agreed with the coach’s assessment.

The Dutchman started alongside Christopher Schindler in central defence for the second straight match and says he and his colleagues in the back-line need to learn from the experience if they are to improve the club’s slim hopes of staying in the top flight.
He told the club’s media channel: “That’s why four defenders and the goalkeeper have to stay the whole game focused until the end of the game and I think I have to learn from this game to stay until the end focused. “We learn from this game and the next game we have to get some points.”
