Kojo Williams, a onetime chairman of Nigeria Football Association says he is not pleased that Amaju Pinnick is still presiding over Nigerian football despite the corruption allegations weaved around him, Completesports.com reports.
Kojo reiterates the NFF boss should step down, insisting that was the single most honourable thing for him to do now.
“In other climes, all of them, including Amaju, Shehu Dikko, should have quit the Glass House by now,” Kojo said without reservation during an exclusive chat with Completesports.com
“They should leave, simple and straight forward.”
The two top hierarchy of the NFF has come under scrutiny of government anti-corruption agency,Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC), with Amaju’s houses in Lagos, Dikko’s house in Abuja as well as properties of other 12 NFF officials reportedly sealed off by the anti-graft agency for an alleged corrupt practices.
Kojo added: “Let ICPC do its work. Let them conduct their investigations. They won’t seal the properties if they don’t have their facts.”
“They [ICPC officials] are highly professional even if Nigerians underrate them. They know exactly what they are doing.”
The executive board and congress of NFF are yet to comment on the alleged corruption swing around the top NFF officials.
Kojo says this development is nothing new to him.
“Is the congress clean on itself? They are all birds of same feather,” he alleged.
“A congress that’s paid to vote in a certain direction. That’s why our football is not moving forward.”

Our football is moving forward mr.Williams.Besides they have the right not to resign from their posts on the grounds of innocence. But if found guilty after investigation is conducted then they should face the consequences.
Kojo and co if only you all have better modernize ideas to move us forward but no so you all should shut up and leave pinnick alone if he’s a thief he’s a small thief doing his best but you all are worse like your former minister Dalung and Giwa
Just pure envy. I have always held Koko in high regard but just losing every bit of respect for him. This Clearly shows those who have been secretly witch hunting the NFF. KOJO, what you couldn’t do, Amaju n co have been doing, moving our football forward since coming into power. Come out with proof of the corruption labelled against them first before asking that they leave. Very cheap…
Moving our football forward at the expense of attracting global respect and interest.
Pinnick and his cohorts need to step aside for proper investigation. This is how it is done in responsible organizations.
…in my opinion most Nigerians in Pinnicks place won’t do different than help themselves to the purse every now and then… However… Our league can be run more professional that what it is presently.
Anytime nigerians talk, i can almost immediately seperate those who are in diaspora or at home.
Curruption has become a norm un nigeria.
The last time I came home, I experienced a suituatiin where mad people are asking someone who is sane, are you mad?
I see no hope for redemption.
Buhari is fighting curruption with forgery and perjury hanging over his neck, under the same government, snake is swallowing dollars, (APC have corrupted even animals.
What a shame.
Ganduje is pocketing dollars on camera and is still a governor under Mr. Integrity?
What a hopeless zoo!&
Where was this Kojo when Dunlog and Giwa were socking NFF dry. You are jealous Kojo.
@Edoman
Don’t mind these bad belly critics with faces painted scary red in envy. It’s as if they’re out to checkmate any progress. Our soccer is on the rise. And then they expose their shallow intellect with porous reasoning. Step down on mere accusations?
By the way, was your use of “socking” deliberate as a comic relief? After all, sock is an indispensable soccer gear. No offence, bro!
So where has Amaju Pinick has led us now…..this is December 29th 2023…..Our football is in shambles….
