Japanese outfit Vissel Kobe are believed to be interested in landing Manchester City star David Silva this summer. Silva has just one year remaining on his current deal at the Etihad Stadium and there has been no news on whether the Spaniard will extend his stay with Pep Guardiola’s side.

Reports have suggested Kobe are keen to sign Silva and see the playmaker join up with countryman Andreas Iniesta, who decided to call time on his successful career with Barcelona to move to Japan. It remains to be seen if City will listen to any offers for Silva or will try and tie the 33-year-old down to fresh terms with the Citizens, who are currently preparing for Monday’s encounter with Leicester City.
