Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says they will cope with the injury situation and has ruled out bringing in a new central defender.
The Reds have been hit hard in central defence with Joe Gomez, Joe Matip and Dejan Lovren all picking up injuries, meaning Klopp has a crisis ahead of the Brighton game.

Now the transfer window is open, cover could be drafted in, with Burnley’s £50million-rated defender James Tarkowski being mentioned as one possible option, but Klopp has cooled such talk.
Instead, the Reds will soldier on with what they have until the injury list starts to clear. “The only country that asks a question like this is England,” Klopp said when asked if he would sign a new defender.
“Everything is sorted with buying players. We have four centre-halves. Three, maybe, two-and-a-half are injured so we’ll have to try and come through in the moment.
“We need them back but you cannot buy a fifth centre-half and say, ‘So you play two weeks and after that, the others come in’.”
