There has been a long-standing clamour for a fight between the British rivals.

Speaking about the outcome of a potential fight between the boxers, the Ukrainian legend, who fought both men in the latter part of his career, attributed Joshua’s ability as the yardstick to overcome Fury.
“Hands down, Joshua,” Klitschko said.
“He is getting to be a complete fighter. Technically, size-wise, weight-wise, power-wise. And he is a good learner.”
Klitschko, expressed doubt on Fury’s long-term success in boxing, citing indiscipline as the bane for other boxers who had short dominance reign in boxing.
“The other guy (Fury), like a fart in the wind, it is there and it is gone,” he said.
“In the history of boxing, there are a lot of examples of this kind of guy. They can be successful for a time but are not disciplined enough to continue to be successful.”
Joshua is set to face Daniel Dubois, the IBF titleholder, in a September bout while Fury will face Oleksandr Usyk in a rematch.
