Prop Sekope Kepu has confirmed that he has signed for Premiership new-boys London Irish ahead of next season. The 33-year-old Australia international has made 103 appearances for the Wallabies since his debut in 2008, while he also boasts vast experience from spells with Super Rugby outfit New South Wales Waratahs and a season at French Top 14 side Bordeaux in 2015-16.

Kepu will now get his first taste of playing in England after London Irish swooped to add him to their ranks having won promotion to the Premiership this past season. “I’m excited at the opportunity to join London Irish as they return back to the Premiership,” he said.
“I was very impressed by the facilities at Hazelwood and the new stadium taking shape in West London, so as a player, it is an exciting time to be joining the club.” Kepu is the second player that the Exiles have brought in for the 2019-20 season after the recent capture of Ireland and Leinster back-rower Sean O’Brien.
