Schalke defender Jonjoe Kenny says he has been pleased with how he has already settled with life in Germany after his loan switch from Everton. Kenny has joined up with former Huddersfield Town manager David Wagner, who was impressed by the defender during his time in England with the Terriers.
Now settled in with the Royal Blues, Kenny says he is enjoying his role in the Schalke side and feels he is getting used to life in Germany.
He said: “I need to create more chances for my team-mates. That is now a part of my job. I want to do that as much and as well as I can.”
He added: “I am loving the German life. My family is also here and they also like Germany a lot. It’s going really well and I feel at home here.”
