Kano Pillars huge 4-3 shock win at Rangers International in a match day -7 2024/2025 NPFL campaign has sparked a gale of cash flow to the players, Completesports.com reports.
Management of the club are understood to have settled the players outstanding five match bonuses on Tuesday, 22 October, 2024, immediately the team returned to base from the victorious trip to Rangers.
“Since the start of the season, the players have not been paid match bonus but all that became history on Tuesday when they came back from Enugu and had their five-match bonuses settled”, an official of the club told Completesports.com on Thursday afternoon.
Kano Pillars have won three matches so far in the campaign, two at home and the victory against Rangers.

They’ve also drawn two and lost three, sitting sixth on the table with 11 points.
The players earn N20, 000 as winning bonus for home games and N50, 000 for away games.
The Sai Masu Gida side adopted the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium, Katsina, as their home ground.
On Sunday, Pillars will welcome Nasarawa Utd in a matchday nine fixture in Katsina.
“The players will leave Kano on Friday for Katsina for the match. Then, on Saturday, Officials will move into Karsina to link up with the players for the match”, reveals Abubakar Issah, spokesman of the club.
Ahmed Musa, a former Super Eagles winger and captain, is expected to make his fifth appearance for his boyhood club since his return this term if coach Usman Abdalla selects him for the match against Nasarawa Utd on Sunday.
