Joseph hasn’t played for England since last year’s Six Nations but will head to Portugal on Wednesday as Eddie Jones’ squad begin preparations for the 2019 edition of the tournament.

The 27-year-old returned for his club at the weekend after a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Head coach Jones is also confident skipper Owen Farrell will be fit for the Six Nations opener against Ireland in Dublin and has not called up a replacement for the Saracens fly-half, who is recovering from a minor thumb operation.
