Jorginho equaled Toni Kroos’ European Championship feat after helping Italy defeat Albania in their opening Group B match of the 2024 European Championship.
Defending champions Italy got their campaign off to positive start with a 2-1 comeback win against the Albanians.
The Italians had to come from behind to secure the three points after Albania took a shock one minute lead.

Arsenal star midfielder Jorginho was one of the architects of Italy’s Win following his impressive performance in midfield.
The former Chelsea player completed 120 passes in the game against Albania, which is the most of any midfielder at the Euros since Kroos in 2016.
Jorginho would be hoping to help Italy retain the European Championship title having being part of the side that won the tournament in 2020.
