Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti has hailed Alex Iwobi for his well executed goal in the 2-1 win at Wolverhampton Wanderers on Tuesday night.
Iwobi scored his first Premier League goal of the season after putting Everton 1-0 ahead just six minutes into the game, finishing off Lucas Digne’s pass.
Ruben Neves equalised for Wolves before Michael Keane netted the winner for the Toffees.

The win took Ancelotti’s side to fourth position in the Premier League table
And commenting after the game Ancelotti was pleased with the way Iwobi and Digne combined for the opening goal.
“We had a different approach without Richarlison and Calvert-Lewin. We played more to attack the flanks with Iwobi and Digne and it worked well because the first goal was a fantastic combination,” he told BBC Sport.
“Michael Keane is unbelievable with his head. His goal helped us to stay in a good position in the table.”

@Glory, your guy don score again oh. Iwobinho.
The move and the goal was a masterclass. Sometimes the Ronaldinho in Iwobi is so amazing when unleashed. he made that run and was at the right place for that goal. He needs consistency.

@Glory…… Where is Igbekun??? Been looking for him ever sine last night lol……
Igbekun is now my man brother. Life is about disagreeing to agree. Banters are not to make enemies but just for a laugh. Lolz. But when the house is getting bored by it, we show respect and must stop. God bless brother man.
Me and you (Glory) suppose gang up against this troublemaker called Oakfield Lol. Iwobi came under criticisms last year from fans, most of whom love him dearly. I am happy for Iwobi. Everyone who criticised him last year are happy for him. But most fans are fickle. If his performance drops again, criticisms will return. It is just the way it is. Footballers’ performances give us talking points. It ensures we visit and revisit sites like this. It gives us juice. It brings us together. Sadly at times, it tears us apart as we saw in Igbekun vs Glory, Dr. Drey vs Chima, Omo9ja vs Oakfield, so on and so forth. But if we refocus and dig deep, we will find that what unites us far outweighs differences of opinions or divergences in expression of opinions. The football World would be a boring place if peculiar players (or ex-players) like Odemwingie, Odegbami, Iwobi, Onuachu, Akpeyi (deo vs Pompei/Chairmanfemi), and the likes did not give us reasons to banter.
The reasons to banter will always be there. The challenge is to learn how to banter reasonably.
