Manchester City are the only team to have maintained 100% winning record in the Premier League since the beginning of 2021.
After drawing against West Brom 1-1 on December 15, the Citizens have fired from all cylinders and moved straight to the top of the Premier League log.
However, City’s visit to Everton could well afford Super Eagles winger, Alex Iwobi to help his team put an end to their unbeaten record.
Having featured 19 times for the Toffees, the Nigerian international, who has managed just one goal to his name this season, will be aiming to add to his goal tally.
Barring any unforeseen injury, Iwobi is expected to be in Everton manager, Carlos Ancelotti’s starting eleven for the big clash on Wednesday.
There is no doubt that Everton’s top-four prospects are shrouded in uncertainty as they sit seventh in the rankings, although they do have at least one game in hand over most of the teams around them, and fourth-placed rivals, Liverpool are only three points ahead having played two games more.
