Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi has been nominated for Fulham’s Goal of the Month award for September.
Iwobi’s superb strike in Fulham’s Carabao Cup clash against Norwich City at the Craven Cottage is in the running for the individual accolade.
The versatile midfielder’s strike proved decisive with Fulham winning the Third Round tie 2-1.
Nigerian-born youngster Chibuzor Nwoko is also in the running for the award.
Nwoko’s strike in Fulham’s U-18 win 3-1 win against Chelsea made the shortlist.
Ollie O’Neil, Lille Lambird, Tia Foreman, Callum Osmand, Madi Parsonson, Matt Dibley-Dias and Callum McFarlane are the other players nominated for the award.
The Nigeria international joined Fulham from Everton on transfer deadline day.
Fulham paid $20m to the Toffees to secure his services.

Iwobi is a great player any day both for his Club and the Nation. He is one of the reasons the pundits are predicting that Nigeria is favorite to win the forthcoming AFCON next year.
