Alex Iwobi was in action for Everton but could not help them end their winless run, as they lost 3-0 to Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday, Completesports.com reports.
Everton have now gone six straight games with a win, suffering four defeats and recording two draws.
Iwobi who started off on the bench, was brought on in the 17th minute for the injured Demarai Gray.

The win means City overtook Liverpool to second on 26 points and are just three points behind leaders Chelsea.
After frustrating their hosts for most part of the first half, Everton’s resolve was eventually broken as Raheem Sterling gave City the lead on 44 minutes.
The England forward was picked out with an exquisite pass from Joao Cancelo before slotting the ball home with a sumptuous half-volley.
In the 55th minute City doubled their lead through Rodri who hammered a rocket from 25 yards out after running onto the loose ball.
And with four minutes left City got their third after Bernardo Silva poked home Cole Palmer’s deflected shot past Jordan Pickford to wrap up the match.

Just read some soul dampening comments being made by Everton FC fans about Alex Iwobi…
1. Morris Monye: “Iwobi plays football like a child excited to see a football. Give him the ball and he runs excitedly with it but has no idea what to do with it at the end”.
2.David McLaughlin: “Iwobi is quite possibly the worst footballer I’ve ever witnessed”
3.Richard Buxton: “Whoever at Arsenal managed to convince Everton to part with £35M for Iwobi is an absolute genius”
Let us keep praying for Alex Iwobi honestly… with this kind of assessment and most of our Se players really being pretenders and not real performers… no wonder SE has been stagnant for ages with the same set of players getting selected whether they improve or not under Gernot Rohr… na wa o!
@JimmyBall am seriously worried for Iwobi. He has been stagnant. He is not growing as a footballer. Even coming to Everton made things worst. We saw some bright future when he was at arsenal
@MONKEY POST… he was really improving at Arsenal especially when he had to battle established players like Ozil and other top midfield guys. Unfortunately, he has stepped off the Gas Pedal a bit to quick… I dont know but suspect his problem is discipline and probably doing a lot more to improve himself personally after his club group trainings… sometimes with these guys having so much money to spend, they became complacent from easy choice lives they can lead…
