Alex Iwobi has been named Everton’s Man of the Match, as they recorded their first Premier League win of the season with a hard fought 1-0 win against West Ham at Goodison Park on Sunday.
Everton announced Iwobi as his team’s best player on their Twitter handle.
Iwobi was instrumental for Everton and marked his impressive performance with the assist that led to the only goal scored by Neal Maupay.
He has now assisted three of Everton’s last four goals in all competitions.
The former Arsenal star had 74 touches, made 34 passes in final third, 13 final third entries, won possession eight times, made three clearances and won three duels.

Also, he had three touches inside West Ham box, had two shots and created two chances.
The win against West Ham took Everton up to 13th place on seven in the league table.
