In an interview with Evertonfc.com, Iwobi praised the display of the Toffees despite losing, highlighting the fact that it was their first pre-season game.
“It was good. Obviously I played in the second half and I feel like we managed to put a bit more pressure on them–we had a couple of chances and opportunities, but overall, I think everyone did well,” Iwobi said.
“At the end of the day, it was our first game, and it was their third so they were going to be a tad sharper than us.
“We had a lot of work to do and we can take the positives from this game.
“There were opportunities for some of the young lads as well.
“Everyone is trying to impress, but there is a lot more work to do.”
Iwobi scored three goals and recorded three assists in 32 games in all competitions for Everton last season.

Heaven bless Iwobi and all deserving Super Eagles players.
I urge the NFF to make quick actions on getting jordan torunarigha to switch to Nigeria, because he is willing to Change to Nigeria after rejecting the offers in 2018 before the world cup. But now he is interested in changing to Nigeria and he confirmed that he has had talks with rhor gernot before he was sacked but hasn’t spoken with peserio.
My main reason for asking for this guy is because of his qualities and West ham have already made a bid for him and it looks like the deal is gonna happen
