Alex Iwobi was disappointed to see Fulham concede a late equaliser in Saturday’s Premier League clash at the Goodison Park.
The Cottagers were held to a 1-1 draw by Sean Dyche’s men.
Iwobi opened scoring for Marco Silva’s side in the 64th minute.
Beto however equalised for Everton in stoppage time.

“It’s always nice to get a goal, but the main thing, whether I score or not, is to get the three points,” Iwobi said after the game.
“It’s a bit of a bittersweet moment, but we have to learn from our mistakes. It happened before against West Ham. We’re kind of disappointed, but we’ll look at the positives to go into the Brentford game.
“It’s almost like a loss; everyone’s not too happy, but the manager says we should be proud of the performance and try not to stay down, so we’ll look at the positives and go again.”
Iwobi praised Emile Smith Rowe for the assist for his goal.
“He has that ability to move with the ball and drive us up the pitch. When he found me, I made sure to stay composed inside the box. I know Jordan (Pickford) pretty well, so I’m delighted with the goal, he added.

Iwobinho may be disappointed about the result, but there was nothing disappointing about his performance!
I’ve always believed in the lad. His performance yesterday is a reminder of what he’s capable of.
The Everton board must have met after the game to lament their decision to let him go.
The only thing missing in his game now is goals. He does provide many assists. But with his talent, I personally demand a minimum of 10 goals a season from him.
What a sublime goal! And lovely assist from his ex Arsenal mate Smith Rowe.
After his goal, he raised his two hands as if to say I’M SORRY to the Everton fans. The cheeky Calvin Bassey then came and imitated him, saying PLEASE DON’T SHOOT, MY BAD, MY BAD.
Hahahaha! A plea to Everton fans not to ESCOBAR his friend Iwobi. On the contrary, it seems Everton fans are more noble minded than that, as they could be heard singing Iwobi’s name after the goal.
