Denmark and Crystal Palace defender, Joachim Andersen, says it will be tough to play two games against Premier League giants Manchester United this week.
Palace will face the Red Devils in the Carabao Cup Third Round tonight [Tuesday, September 26] at Old Trafford. The Eagles will also face the Red Devils on Saturday, September 30 in a Premier League match at the same venue.
In an interview with Cpfc.co.uk, Andersen expresses his concern over the hectic schedule he and his teammates will execute. He however eagerly anticipates a contest with his international teammate, Rasmus Hojlund, whom he describes as a talented forward.

Hojlund has scored one goal in four games across all competitions for United this season since he joined the Red Devils from Serie A outfit Atalanta in the last summer window.
“He’s a young lad with a lot of character, a lot of energy and really good attributes,” Andersen said.
“He’s quick, he’s strong, a lot of energy and he has a lot of energy. It’s not easy to play against a player like him and I think his start in England has been really good. He scored last week so I’m really happy for him.
“I don’t know if I’ve experienced something like that before. Of course, it’s difficult to play two games at Old Trafford in one week but it is what it is. Hopefully, we can get some good results. It’s a lot of travel in one week, but that’s how it is.”

Andersen has scored once in six games for Crystal Palace in the Premier League this season.
Manchester United have won the Carabao Cup six times (1991/92, 2005/06, 2008/09, 2009/10, 2016/17 and 2022/23). Crystal Palace have never won the Carabao Cup.
The Red Devils are currently in ninth position in the Premier League table with nine points from six games, while the Eagles are in 10th with eight points from the same number of games.
