Manchester United coach Erik Ten Hag says his team have had a good season after qualifying for the 2023/24 UEFA Champions League.
United defeated Chelsea 4-1 on Thursday, May 25 at Old Trafford to seal the qualification spot.
Casemiro, Anthony Martial, Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford lol got on the score sheet for the Red Devils.
Portuguese forward Joao Felix scored a consolatory goal for Chelsea in the 89th minute of the game.
Ten Hag reckons it’s not easy to finish in the top four in the Premier League.
“It’s really important (to finish in the top four),” Manutd.com quoted Ten Hag as saying
“This club belongs in the Champions League and it’s not so easy in the Premier League. It’s a tough competition, strong, with a lot of teams competing for that. And we made it, so we make a good season.”
Manchester United have accumulated 72 points after 37 Premier League games and they third in the division.
