Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp has expressed disappointment after his team lost 1-0 to Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday, March 11.
Phillip Billing scored the only goal of the game in the 28th minute.
In his post-match conference, Klopp suggested that Bournemouth dictated the pace of the game, a sharp contrast to his expectation.
“The game is pretty much the opposite of what we wanted to show and to do today,” Liverpoolfc.com quoted Klopp as saying.

“I think we played pretty much for 95 minutes the game Bournemouth wanted us to play and a few minutes, maybe a few moments, we did the stuff that we wanted to do actually.
“In the first half, I think our two or three best moments were similar: finding the half-space, going from there behind the last line. We scored a goal which was disallowed for offside, but was anyways a good situation, well played, had other situations in a similar manner.”
Liverpool are fifth in the Premier League table with 42 points after 26 games.
Up next for the Reds is a UEFA Champions League Round of 16 second-leg match with Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday, March 15.
