'It's Hard To Stop Us' Osimhen Talks Up Partnership With Icardi

Victor Osimhen has once again talked up his partnership with Argentina international Mauro Icardi, reports Completesports.com.

Osimhen has enjoyed a perfect relationship with Icardi since his arrival at the club.

The duo were in action in Galatasaray’s 2-1 derby victory over Besiktas on Monday night.

The Nigeria international scored his club’s second goal of the game.

“Icardi and I get along very well on the field. I have said this before. We work together in training. I know how experienced he is. Things he tells me happen,” he told the club’s official website.

“I try to apply them on the field. It is an honor for me to play with him. It is very difficult for any defense to block us. When they try to block me, sometimes they fail. When they try to block him, sometimes I fail. I am happy to be able to play with him.

Osimhen also emphasised the role of the fans in the win.

“First of all, I want to thank our fans. They were incredible. We think they brought us the three points. We played well from the first moment to the last. We were good in terms of play,” Osimhen added.

“We faced a team with talented players, especially forwards. I am happy with the goal contribution. This is important; but the team’s performance was more important. Now we need to continue by building on this momentum.”
