Spanish division two club Almeria have told Benfica and Valencia to prepare to pay at least €30million for Nigerian striker Sadiq Umar at the end of the season or forget about the deal, reports Completesports.com.
According to reports in Spain, both clubs have enquired about the Super Eagles star, but Almeria will not sit down to negotiate until the end of the summer, as they are focused on securing promotion to the top flight and would not entertain any lesser than how much value they place on the Nigerian.
Benfica are said to be keen on landing the 25-year-old as a replacement for Darwin Nunez who has also been linked with big move away from the club at the end of the season.

The Portuguese club are reportedly the favourites to sign the former AS Roma attacker due to the good relationship with Almeria, but the Spanish side will not accept anything less than their valuation.
If the deal for Umar eventually goes through, it would be the most expensive sale in the second division, in case Almeria fail to gain promotion to Laliga Santander, and could channel the funds to the remodeling of their Mediterranean Games Stadium.
The Super Eagles’ forward has been central to Almeria’s push to play among the elite clubs in Spain next season, and the club are on course with five games left to play in the division.
The Nigeria international has shown that his outstanding perfomance last season was no accident with 20 league goals, having already netted 16 times this campaign.
Almeria paid six million euros to Partizan in 2020 for Umar, after the club sold Darwin Nunez, who has been linked with a move to Manchester United.
