Gabriel Osho says it is a ‘great honour’ to finally link up with the Super Eagles, report Completesports.com.
The Auxerre defender was invited by former Super Eagles head coach Finidi George for the first time in March but could not make his debut due to injury.
The 26-year-old now has the chance to finally make his debut for the West Africans after he was included in the squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixtures against Benin Republic and Rwanda.

Osho declared that he is elated with the opportunity to finally play for the three-time African champions.
“I was invited before but couldn’t come because of injury and other things but when this invitation came, everything just align and I could finally join the team,” he told the Super Eagles media.
“I will just work hard as I can, that’s what the fans can expect from me every single game. It’s important for everyone to work hard. For me , it’s important to put hard work in everything you do.
“The front line you see all the big names that are there, the country is full of talented players. It’s very competitive to get called up. It’s a great honour for me because I know their are a lot of quality players in the team.”
