Leon Balogun has stated that it is a privilege for him to win more silverware with Rangers.
Balogun returned to the Ibrox in the summer after spending one year with Sky Bet Championship club Queen Park Rangers.
The 35-year-old won the Scottish Premiership in the 2020/21 season and the Scottish Cup in the 2021/22 campaign during his first stint at the club.
The centre-back played a crucial role as the Gers defeated Aberdeen 1-0. in the final of the Scottish League Cup on Sunday.
“When I left the first time, for me, it is the most special time I had in my career and that will never change,”Balogun told Rangers TV.
“It is a privilege for me to be here at this stage of my career and to be winning silverware again.

“The fans are second to none, I have played in some big stadiums, but they are great.
“It is great to see the reaction from the fans. I am very happy and content.
“It is a great day to remember, I am starting to collect a lot of good memories from here.
“I am happy that we rewarded ourselves as well. I think we had quite the development in this season.
“I posted something last week, I am enjoying where the team are at the moment.
“I don’t want to be a buzz kill but we know we are in the middle of the season and we have more to play for.
“We will enjoy this and then make sure we are ready for Wednesday as there are some very important points to play for and we want to make sure we get them.”
