Former Arsenal forward Ian Wright says it will be difficult for the Gunners to win the Premier League this season.
The Mikel Arteta led side are currently third in the Premier League standings with 27 points accrued after 12 matches played just one point below Manchester City who are in first position and have played the same number of games.
Liverpool are second with the same number of points as Arsenal but with a superior goal difference.
Arsenal almost won the Premiership last season as they finished second after being first position for the majority of the campaign.
In a video posted on the Stick To Football YouTube channel, Wright backed Arteta to remain as Arsenal coach even if they fall to lift the title.

“I don’t think so, it would depend on the manner,” Arteta said.
“He’s making decisions already, he’s brought the goalkeeper in, people are questioning some of his signings. I think he’s somebody who is very tunnel vision in what he wants to do. And I think he’ll be judged at the end of the season if he can do it.
“But I feel to try and chase down Manchester City with what they are doing, the margins what you are trying to gain are very tough and it’s going to be tough for anybody to try and do it, not just Mikel.”
Arsenal set a record in the 2022/23 season as they were number one on the table for 248 days. This is the most number of days a team has been number one in the standings without winning the Premier League.
Manchester City won the 2022/23 edition of the Premier League.
The Gunners made a return to the UEFA Champions League this current season after a six year absence.
They are currently first in Group B of the UEFA Champions League with nine points after matchday four.
