WHERE IS THE NEW COACH TO LEAD TEAM. NOWHERE TO BE FOUND.
WE ARE TOO SLOW IN THIS COUNTRY TO TAKE IMMEDIATE ACTION ON PROBLEMS AT HAND. CAMEROON, GHANA DIDN’T WASTE TIME IN ANNOUNCING THEIR SUBSTANTIVE COACH IMMEDIATELY AFTER AFCON FAILURE. AND AT THE END, EVERYBODY CAN SEE THE RESULT, BY QUALIFY FOR WORLD CUP.
NFF ARE WASTING TIME ON THE ISSUE OF COACH. GIVE US A STANDARD FOREIGN COACH THAT KNOWS ABOUT AFRICA FOOTBALL AND NIGERIA PLAYERS BOTH HOME AND ABROAD. AND LET THE PREPARATION START.
*** NO TIME ***
All this updates of Friendlies and all sort are nonsense just to distract us from the main subject that Pinnick is no longer needed and the football house needs total overhauling and reforming. If we don’t go to the root of the matter we will continue this trial and error move that will take us back to square one again because everything in the glass house is full of incompetence! Pinnick is power hungry and will not stop at anything if we don’t speak out now. Let him leave us alone and continue his FIFA commitment.
Medication after death. Who gonna watch? Who cares?
NONSENSE!
Medication after death. Who gonna watch? Who cares?
Good opportunity to start rebuilding the Super Eagles. Luckily our players are still young and doing well in their clubs
Thanks for the apology, Mr. Amaju Pinnick. Meanwhile, it means we are left with few weeks to the match, so what are the plans as regards invitation of players and commencement of camping? Good luck the Super Eagles and God bless our homeland, Nigeria.
September is still far away. There is a high possibility that Mexico will cancel the friendly before then.
Instead of discussing what may not material at the end of the day, we should rather focus our attention on issues that are already on ground as at April 2022.
The minister of sports and the NFF board members should resign.
As long as these men are still there, we won’t make any progress in sports. For the past three years, their actions and inactions has brought nothing but misery to us. We missed so many tournaments including Olympics. But their last blow which has broken the camel’s back is the recent double setbacks and embarrassment which they served Nigeria, within a space of approximately one month
Did you hear anyone resigned in Italy?
That guy is an Ode buruku. I just finished reading Sports Bild and nobody is calling for Julian Nagelsmann, Bayern Munich coach resignation because of a score draw. This slave mentality is a disease. Eguavoen should let us know his plans for the friendlies.
The match is next month, and I see the NFF reverting to the local coaching crew that played 7 matches losing only one in the process.
Thanks for the apology, Mr. Amaju Pinnick. Patently , it means we are left with few weeks to the match, so what are the plans as regards invitation of players and commencement of camping? God bless Nigeria.
I was wondering if NFF is in existence because we haven’t heard from them since. First of all, apology accepted but one important thing is, we would like to have 3 players from the local league in the team that will be constituted for these matches. Good luck Amaju and Congrats for your Fifa appointment.
One local player is ok. My fear most especially for next month match is will the SE foreign based players be released by their clubs? Eguavoen needs to open communication with these players/clubs in good time.
You are very correct. If I remember clearly, we had similar challenge some months ago when Ighalo’s former club refused to release for Afcon21.
All these na smoke screen.
The real issue on ground is:
WHEN ARE THE NFF EXECUTIVES AND THE SPORTS MINISTER GOING TO RESIGN?
E LE WON JADE!!!
Well spoken @Pompei. We never learned our lessons Nigerians. The current NFF will ruin our sports before they leave their positions.
I won’t be surprise if I see coach Eguavoen in the Super Eagles against Mexico. That is the plan.
If we don’t kick Amaju Pinnick and his group out of their offices, Nigeria may not qualify for Afcon.
Let’s give Amunike a chance to lead the team to face Mexico. This is a rare opportunity for him to prove to us he’s the man who can do the job.
For me, I will say no to foreign coach. NFF haven’t selected the best of our own to represent us.
Egbo is over qualified to be in charge of the Super Eagles.
We have Amunike that also good enough to be in charge of the Super Eagles.
We all remember a foreign coach who took the job of the Super Eagles for six good years, Super Eagles enjoyed good goalies under him. Even, Nigeria goalies were rated among top two in the world during his time.
While Cisse is doing very well with Senegal. Etoo is working so tirelessly to make sure Indomitable Lions of Cameroon are back and better.
Amaju and his people have no shame while they remains in the office till this moment. For sure, new coach can not do anything between now and 28 of may. It is well. God bless Nigeria!!!
This Amaju man should be lucky that we are not under a military regime, otherwise he and his rogue board members should have been in the guard room in the barracks since March 29th.
We don’t want him to appoint another foreign coach for us.The super Eagles is not his father’s property.Let him just go and enjoy his bounty and face his fifa and CAF assignments.
The sport minister is too slow and lenient with them. They all ought to be out by now.
Next is Segun odegbami and the 1994 sets of eagles should please leave our eagles alone and look for work elsewhere.
We need a clean break from the past.
Amoo has an opportunity to shine in eagles colors. Wish the match is next week. Meanwhile, nff should let us have their programme of action. Up SE!
Who cares……..
Those of you comparing us to Italy will feel the heat on World Cup eve. You think Italy retaining of Mancini is the best for them so we should also do same. Time will tell…. One thing for sure that I know is with Pinnick I don’t believe in transparency.
Ahhhhh….. Mr chief complainant. Haha hah. Didn’t we warn u???? But u were hell bent and fixated at calling a dog a bad name so that he can be hanged. Why are u now whining like a pregnant goat in heat??? U are reaping what u sowed Rohr, was this , rohr was that. Rohr does not play with flare like the squad of u.s 94. Rohr is a mechanic coach and a p.e teacher teacher…. Ha haha… See where u gave landed. In nov, una go dy watch world cup for telly…. Haha hah. I hear say u don switch allegiance to Ghana?? Ha haha…why are y running away nah?? .noo, no need for that! Cone and support and watch what you destroyed with your evil mouth. The evil that men do lives with and after them. Shame on you… Ndi ara!
Hahahahaha…Ndi fail with their own dem……Ndi breath of fresh air…….Ndi Egaudiola is tactically better, I hope they are having a huge celebration party now…?LMAOoo.
I wonder why the dullard of a sports minister has not hosted them to another dinner for this latest impressive failure…..LMAOOOo.
They lied to us Rohr was winning games only because of individual brilliance of the players before the players disgraced them all by revealing that they have actually been playing to instructions. Eguadiola was the one who was just pours 11 players on the pitch to be “expressing themselves”….LMAOOoooo.
We thought we had 9 coaches on the bench, but it took an experience Ighalo to notify them that Ghana had changed formation since the beginning of the second half….LMAOooo….before they now started switching to a stupid 5-0-5 formation out of panic…..LMAOOOoo
When you have a coach who just pours 11 players on the pitch to be “expressing themselves” ie using their individual brilliance to wow Alhaly and El Merriekh players, without clear intelligent instructions, 10 vs 11 against a weakened Tunisian team and “we had too many foreign borns in the team that faced Ghana” will seem like perfect excuses for failure…..LMAOOoo
The Ghanaian team itself had as much a 9 foreign born players o…..LMAOOooo.
Bunch of useless people.
He’s mr “american express”… ….. Lol… U dy mind them???? Ndi ara
Your brains are shut and it’s always easy for you clowns to talk what you have no idea about, two monkeys good at spreading falsehood.
1. I will never be a fan of Rohr’s philosophy because he is not the best for Nigeria just like the other failures that we lately experienced due to lack of due diligence from the incompetent NFF in hiring coaches.
2. I am presently applying to be a resident of the states. The fact that I am up on different times as a result of forex market session change over or the fact that I married a Ghanaian Lawyer and own a house in the Capital of Ghana does not mean I am stationed in Ghana. Shallow minds like you always live in the most terrible situation no wonder you’re quick to choose the same scenario for people.
3. The fall of Nigeria football is a general problem and only fools like you will think otherwise so continue ranting and deceiving your small selves contentious charlatans!
Lol…. Chei….. U really have a biiiig problem…. Who cares about your papers and forex shit??? Papers I got way before 2004 that u no want us to hear word here…. Hahah.. You are so full of shit you know….
please, will AIT air the match live?
Emplore Blanc or former Bacolona coach
Missing a WC like this is a good opportunity to get lots of friendly matches.
There will be lots of matches with countries that qualify and the one`s that don’t.
we should make use of that window, which will be enough for a technically sound coach to know the boys he will be working with, so when the AFCON qualifier begins , there will be no starting afresh barrier, even the dumbest sport administrators should understand this.
I knew people will see this friendly match as a right direction to go after missing out on the WC.
But we dont need to play friendlies just for the sake of it, if we dont plan and do things in the right way, even if we play friendlies against the angels and win home and away, the end product will still be failure
We should just try and do things right for once. Jeez
First of all, for those calling for Mr. Pinnick’s resignation should just keep shut.
Where we’re you guys when the Sports Minister was calling for the head of Gernot Rohr and the infusion of local coaches that led to the appointment of the consortium of failed coaches to lead Super Eagles.
Truth be told, Amaju Pinnick played a smart one by playing along to the Sports Minister’s desires and other corrupt NFF staff that were to gain from any of the botched success of the local coaches.
Their plans failed in the end and they couldn’t smell the shit they were talking about.
I will advise that Amaju Pinnick should stay on as I know that once again is just politics at play.
Many of the people calling for his sack are looking to make someone from the South West Or from the North of Nigeria the NFF chairman. That is all.
The same shit we spread in Nigeria over tribal sentiments. Some people will say that Pinnick has a bad record with our National teams, yet these are the same people that clamoured for local coaches to be given an opportunity to handle age grade teams.
Where is the result now for that experiment. Zero progress.
Left to me, any aspiring Super Eagles local coach should handle the age grade teams like U17, U20 and U23 in successive manner. Any failure in that order is not ready to be a head honcho for Super Eagles.
The competition at the Super Eagles level is much harder than you think.
Only those tested and trusted in European football clubsides even at UEFA Youth competitions should be allowed as Super Eagles coach. Period.
Excuse me!
Is this the BEN that I know or the DUPLICATE??
That is saying this?
Cos they are two BEN up in here…
When I hear NFF, what comes to my mind is Nigerture Future Failure (NFF).
Nothing good can come of our present NFF body as a whole.
many of the friendly matches will be canceled and those that will still go on as schedule will be prosecuted with worst home base players
@Monkey Post, it is the one you know we’ll. Not the other one.
I will keep saying this until it is heard wide.
We don’t know the Yeye politics at play in the NFF glass house.
Most of it is beyond the mere saying, “let Nigerian football be great again”.Fact is right from Pinnick’s ascending into the role of NFF President and his endorsement of a Foreign coach, he ruffled a lot of bigwigs that usually smile to the bank during our sad days as fans.
Also fact is these so called NFF bigwigs including the past NFF President werent happy at all with that decision of a Foreign technical adviser.
If you recall properly, Pinnick did conduct a forensic audit at NFF in his first few months, that is the same audit that exposed the wages of the past President and other members of NFF.
Also it was because of that forensic audit that he was able to gain the trust of corporate sponsors. Yes, you might say he has EFCC cases against him. But
who no dey get EFCC case these days???
Just be against some northern interests and you will have EFCC on your case. Whether you like it or not.
Back to the matter, Pinnick played the Nigerian politics of “make dem no say na Because of me”, that we no qualify. At the end, the shit of failure and not qualifying lies at the anus of the Sports Minister, Segun Odegbami, JimmyBall, Omo 9ja and every other person that supported Eguavoen to take over from Gernot Rohr or that criticised his work.
Let me ask this question for you guys to think. Why is Pinnick ascending in FIFA appointment if he is that bad in management???
After all there were others before him that didn’t even smell a FIFA appointment, that should tell you all something about him for those who want to reason.
Is not every FA Chairman that gets a FIFA appointment.
