Inter Milan are believed to be planning a shock swoop for new Roma skipper Alessandro Florenzi. Nerazzurri boss Antonio Conte is hoping for a big summer in the transfer market as he looks to revamp the squad and was recently linked with Giallorossi forward Edin Dzeko.
However, another Roma man is now being talked up as a target and sources in Italy suggest Florenzi could be open to an offer. The 28-year-old came through his club’s academy and was long-viewed as the natural heir for the armband and was given the honour following Daniele De Rossi’s exit.

All does not seem well though in the Eternal City and following internal clashes that saw club icon Francesco Totti resign as a director due to disagreements with the board and De Rossi decide not to renew his contract, there are suggestions that Florenzi could take similar action.
The versatile right-sided player was only recently named the club’s captain but worked under Conte during his time in charge of the Italian national team and the relationship they struck up during that spell is said to have convinced the coach he can snare 32-cap international.
