Tiger Woods is looking forward to facing top-quality opposition in the World Golf Championships in Mexico City.
Woods is a seven-time winner of the event although those successes came at six different venues before the tournament moved to Mexico City two years ago and renamed as the WGC-Mexico Championship.

The 43-year-old, 14-time major winner says the venue is irrelevant because simply taking on the world’s best is all the motivation he needs.
“I take a lot of pride in playing well in the biggest events, so that being the majors, the Players [Championship], and the World Golf Championships,” he told reporters.
“My record has been pretty good in those events. “So just because this event has been in different places, it’s still against the best players in the world and I’ve always enjoyed competing against them, and trying to beat them and win an event.”
