Aston Villa have reportedly agreed a deal with Reims for Belgian defender Bjorn Engels as their summer revamp continues. Dean Smith has been the busiest Premier League manager so far this summer in terms of signings and he looks set to have a deep squad to pick from in 2019-20.

Jota, Anwar El Ghazi, Wesley, Kortney Hause, Matt Targett, Tyrone Mings and Ezri Konsa have already joined, while Manchester City’s Douglas Luiz is set to complete a move in the next 48 hours.
Reports claim Reims have accepted a bid in the region of £7million for the Belgium under-021 international, which would take Villa’s spending this summer to almost £100million. Engels, who has represented Club Brugge, Olympiacos and Reims, will be the fourth central defender to link up with the Villa Park outfit.
