Everton are reportedly one of a number of clubs showing an interest in Manchester City midfielder Fabian Delph. England international Delph has just under a year left on his City contract and it is claimed he has been told he is free to leave the Etihad Stadium this summer if a suitable offer comes in.

The 29-year-old, who has filled in at left-back over the past couple of seasons, has been with the Citizens since arriving from Aston Villa in 2015 although injury has hampered his playing time, with just 57 league appearances to his name. Everton are said to be showing a keen interest as Marco Silva looks to strengthen his squad ahead of the 2019/20 campaign and an offer could be lodged in the coming days for the Bradford-born star.
It is thought a bid of around £15million would be enough for the Premier League champions to sell Delph, who could be tempted into leaving to gain regular first-team football. However, the Toffees are set to face competition for the midfielder’s signature from a number of other top-flight clubs.
