Goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen hopes Barcelona can ride the wave of euphoria into Wednesday’s Champions League clash with Liverpool. Barca’s 1-0 victory over Levante on Saturday secured their 26th La Liga title, with Lionel Messi netting the all-important goal on 62 minutes.

The Catalans are nine points clear of second-placed Atletico Madrid while fierce rivals Real Madrid are 18 points adrift in third, with Ernetso Valverde’s side claiming back-to-back Spanish top-flight titles and their fifth in the past seven seasons.
There is still much to play for this term, however, with Europe’s elite club competition very much at the forefront of everyone’s mind and Ter Stegen is relishing the chance of facing the Reds in the semi-finals after taking care of business in the league.
“Let’s continue this strong momentum at the Camp Nou on Wednesday, full focus for the Champions League now. Can’t wait,” he wrote on Instagram.
