Granada have signed striker Roberto Soldado on an initial one-year contract following his departure from Turkish side Fenerbahce. The 34-year-old former Spain international has had previous spells in Spain with Real Madrid, Osasuna, Getafe, Valencia and Villarreal, while he also had a disappointing two-year spell in England with Tottenham between 2013-15.

Soldado joined Fenerbahce in 2017 and scored 19 goals in 59 appearances before leaving when his contract expired at the end of June. La Liga new-boys Granada have offered him a one-year deal with the option of another 12 months to see off competition from Levante for his services.
