Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke is looking to add his name to the list of stars who have shone in the European Under-21 championship.
The Cherries frontman is looking to ensure he has a place in Aidy Boothroyd’s side when they kick-off their campaign against France in Italy in Group C on June 18.
Solanke wants to add his name to the list of youngsters who have starred in the Under-21 championship and then moved on to make a name for themselves at the highest level.

Having won the Golden Ball for the Under-20s in their World Cup win in 2017 he was asked whether it would be nice to secure a remarkable player of the tournament double. Solanke replied: “Definitely.
It would be amazing if I could do that. We will see! “It was fantastic seeing the names after (the Under-20 World Cup). I didn’t realise those big names were on it before. I was very pleased with that. “To win it was amazing and that just topped it off.”
