Real Madrid skipper Sergio Ramos feels the club should look to get a deal over the line to bring Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba to the Bernabeu.
The France international was strongly linked with a move to the Spanish capital over the summer, with head coach Zinedine Zidane known to be a big admirer of his compatriot.
However, a move failed to materialise for Pogba, as United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was determined to keep hold of a key figure in his midfield.
Former Juventus star Pogba seemed to be open to the proposition of a switch to Los Blancos and there will undoubtedly be more rumours when the transfer window reopens in January.

Now Ramos has had his say on the Red Devils playmaker and feels the 26-year-old would be an excellent addition to the squad at the La Liga giants. “I think Real Madrid always has the door open for good players such as him,” Ramos told Express Sport.
He added: “He is different, and he has shown his value at Juventus and now Manchester United. “I think he brings balance to a team. He has a great offensive influence and he has this amazing physique.”
Manchester United spent in the region of £89million to bring Pogba back to Old Trafford from Juve in 2016.
The French star has found consistency hard to come by since his move to the Red Devils, leading to frustration among some of the club’s supporters.
However, Pogba is still seen as one of the first names on the team sheet of Solskjaer and Real will have a battle on their hands if they are indeed to sign the player in January or next summer.
Pogba’s current contract at Old Trafford expires in June 30, 2021 and United could look to try and tie down their star man to a new deal in the near future.
