Crystal Palace are the latest Premier League club to be linked with a swoop for Leeds United striker Kemar Roofe. The 26-year-old is believed to be a target of several Premier League and Championship clubs after enjoying a strong season at Elland Road.

He scored 15 times in 33 league games despite being played in a variety of roles by boss Marcelo Bielsa. Roofe’s goals were not enough to secure promotion to the top flight for the Whites after they lost out in the play-offs against Derby County.
And while Leeds will no doubt be keen to keep the former Oxford hitman on board, the lure of a move to the Premier League might appeal to him. He is valued at around £4.5million, which would be well within the Eagles’ price range, but Leeds would not doubt push for more money given they would have to find a quality replacement.
