Midfielder James Maddison feels the Leicester fans’ belief helped the Foxes achieve a stunning victory over Arsenal on Sunday.
Leicester moved on to 51 points and sit eighth in the Premier League standings after putting three unanswered goals past the Gunners at the King Power Stadium.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles’ first-half red card aided the home side’s cause but Brendan Rodgers’ men were good value for their 15th top-flight victory of the season.
Jamie Vardy’s late brace put the gloss on the result after Youri Tielemans’ 59th-minute opener and Maddison felt the scoreline did not flatter the East Midlanders. “We came away as 3-0 winners and it could have been a lot more,” he told LCFC TV.

“The lads put everything out there. “Even when Arsenal went down to 10 men, we knew that sometimes that makes the challenge even tougher instead of easier, but even at 11 men, we were dominating.” At 1-0, there was always a chance that Arsenal would snatch a late equaliser but Maddison insists that the home support enabled the players to maintain focus and get the job done. “There was a calmness around the whole stadium – the fans believed in us and we got there in the end and scored three good goals,” he added.
