Grant Hanley will reportedly stay at Norwich and fight for his place in Daniel Farke’s Premier League plans this season. The 27-year-old Scotland international, who is currently under contract with the Canaries until 2023, saw his long-term future at Carrow Road shrouded in doubt.
Farke gave him only nine outings in the Championship last season and it is open to debate as to the game time he will enjoy with Norwich now back in the top flight. It looks likely that he is behind Timm Klose, Ben Godfrey and Christoph Zimmermann in the pecking order and a move away from East Anglia looked on the cards.

Indeed, Blackburn, who sold Hanley to Newcastle in 2016, were thought to be keen on taking him back to Ewood Park in this transfer window. But the latest reports emanating from Norwich are claiming Hanley will stay put and battle it out for a starting berth.
