Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola claims there is “no better place” to be working and he has “everything” at the club. The former Barcelona boss is about to embark on his fourth season at the Etihad and is under contract until 2021.

After a barren first season in charge, his team have dominated domestically, winning two Premier Leagues, two League Cups and one FA Cup. Guardiola has tended to stay at clubs in three or four-year spells in the past and was linked with the vacant Juventus job before they handed it to Chelsea’s Maurizio Sarri.

However, the 48-year-old says he is loving life at City and appears to want to stay for the foreseeable future. “I have everything and I can’t find a better place than this one,” Guardiola said of his club to Gol TV.
“The club doesn’t judge me on whether I win or lose. “I have a young team and I feel loved. It’s one of the best clubs of the last decade. The fans tell me that even if things go badly, they will back me to the death.”
