Arsenal have reportedly made a £31million offer for Real Madrid winger Lucas Vazquez. Unai Emery is looking to bolster his squad ahead of the 2019/20 Premier League campaign and several reports are now claiming a bid has been made for Spain international Vazquez.

The 28-year-old has been a regular fixture in Madrid’s first-team squad since breaking into the senior set-up in 2015, but starts have been hard to come by and he has had to settle for a bench role. Los Blancos have already splashed out on Belgium forward Eden Hazard this summer and there are reports claiming the Spanish giants are eager to sign Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.
With so much expenditure on the squad, manager Zinedine Zidane may have to allow some players to leave and Vazquez could be set for a switch to England’s top flight. Emery is said to be keen to acquire the winger’s services and an initial £28.6m is believed to have been offered up front, with another £2.69m in add-ons bumping up the price.
