Wilfried Zaha’s brother says it is the Crystal Palace winger’s dream to play for Arsenal, following rumours of a £40million bid. Palace are sure to reject out of hand the offer for Zaha, with the Eagles valuing the 26-year-old at more like the £80m mark, and their resolve to keep their star man has been heightened further after selling Aaron Wan-Bissaka to Manchester United.

Zaha has four years left on the contract he signed last summer when linked with moves to clubs including Tottenham, but it is their north London rivals Arsenal who Zaha wants to join this time around. Zaha’s brother Judicael has now spoken out and hopes that Palace will allow him to join the Gunners, but unless the offer goes up, that is highly unlikely.
“Wilfried will always hold Crystal Palace and their fans in the highest regard and all the support they have given means the world to him,” he said. “It’s my brother’s dream though, to play for Arsenal. “Given all that Wilfried has given to Crystal Palace to help them remain a Premier League club, I hope Palace will be able to see their way to agreeing a deal with Arsenal that allows Wilfried to realise his dream of playing European Football for the club he’s supported since childhood.”
