Nigeria goalkeeper Maduka Okoye kept his ninth clean sheet as Sparta Rotterdam defeated Vitesse Arnhem 3-0 in their league clash on Friday, reports Completesports.com.
Okoye was absent when Vitesse, fourth on the log defeated Sparta Rotterdam 2-0 when the two sides first met last September in a matchweek two game.
The goalie has now kept seven clean sheets in the 2021 calendar year for his Eredivise side after keeping just two in the first half of the season.

Okoye was denied his ninth of the season with an 87th minute goal when Sparta Rotterdam visited Groningen last week and returned with a 2-1 but made sure lightning did not strike twice in seven days.
He will now be looking forward to keeping his 10th clean sheet when Utrecht come visiting next weekend with just two games left to end the season.
The former Fortuna Dusseldorf II of Germany goalie has been linked with Dutch Eredivise champion, Ajax as replacement for Andre Onana who is rumoured to be leaving when the season ends.

The goalkeeping problem is getting solved. Strikers are also in form. Rohr can’t complain.
Wallahi it is really getting solved. That’s sweet to note…
Pls, NFF we need two solid friendly matches during the FIFA window in June to keep this wonderful set of players united.
We really need to cap Michael Olise ASAP. We really need to start giving him sense of belonging before he gets hooked up by one of the reputable premiership clubs fa!
I will never forgive you NFF if Nigeria eventually loose this wonderful player to another country o.
