Ike Ugbo has revealed why he chose to join Belgian Pro League club KRC Genk despite interest from other clubs, reports Completesports.com.
The forward linked up with the Smurfs on a permanent deal from European champions Chelsea last month.

The 22-year-old scored on his debut against Anderlecht few minutes after coming on as a substitute.
“At the end of last season I already spoke with the club and they had a clear plan with me,”Ugbo told Sport/Voetbalmagazine.
” There was interest from other teams, but I felt that I was here I could get what I need at this point in my career. For me it was all about the plan.”
